Advanced Veterinary Nurse Training

Samantha is a British veterinary surgeon currently working in ECC in the UK. Samantha grew up hand rearing with a home based specialist clinic run by her mother. With up to 30 puppies and kittens under the age of 3 weeks at any one time it was a good training ground for everything hand rearing. Samantha qualified from the University of Cambridge and holds post graduate qualifications in veterinary medicine and surgery as well as ‘human’ qualifications in pre-hospital emergency care from her time as a community first responder. She has worked abroad in Indonesia with a variety of species including Sun Bears and monkeys and has hand reared various species including birds, hedgehogs (yes its a UK thing!), squirrels (don’t ask!) and some exotic and wild large cats.
